rachel

Breakfast, lunch and dinner enthusiast.

Rachel is intrigued by the anthropology of food -- what it can tell you about people, their culture, and how one simple ingredient can shape a whole society. She has challenged herself to seek out these experiences and ways in which food has an impact.

Rachel is originally from the great state of New Hampshire, went off to study Marketing at Villanova University, and has recently fulfilled her life long dream of living in Brooklyn. With her Google Maps filled with pins, she's ready to take on the NYC restaurant scene.

Currently working in media, but maybe one day she will make it to culinary school, and join Parker on that sustainable farm.

parker

Writer, humorist, lifelong lover of cooking. Parker is fascinated by the politics of food and finding the best ways to bring people together through good eats.

After heading back east from San Diego to study English and Creative Writing at Villanova University, she is excited to explore the vibrant food scene in NYC, from restaurants to farmer's markets, cookery schools, and beyond.

Life goal: to live and work on her own sustainable vegetable and dairy farm, have company over, and serve them the best butter they've ever tasted.
